Obama Rebuffed As Superpowers Refuse To Sign Arctic Climate Agreement

On Sunday and Monday, foreign ministers and other international leaders met in Anchorage, Alaska to attend the Conference on Global Leadership in the Arctic.

 As a sign of the importance the United States placed on the Alaska forum, President Barack Obama attended.

He used the conference as a platform for urging swifter action to combat climate change.

After the conference, the representatives of the Arctic Council members signed a joint statement affirming “our commitment to take urgent action to slow the pace of warming in the Arctic.”

Why Is Obama So Silent About The Vicious Persecution Of Christians All Over The Globe? 

As you read this article, Christians are being openly persecuted in more than 60 nations.  Churches are being burned, believers are being hunted down and imprisoned, and violent mobs are beating and killing those that dare to say that Jesus is Lord.  And thanks to ISIS, the persecution of Christians has risen to frightening new levels in 2015.

 In recent months, our news sources have been filled with headlines about Christians that are being beheaded, crucified and buried alive by ISIS.  According to U.S. Representative Frank Wolf, what is happening to Christians in the Middle East actually meets the United Nations definition of “genocide”.  So what is Barack Obama doing about all of this?

Sadly, he is essentially doing next to nothing.  He has been nearly silent as the acts of mass violence just keep piling up.  This silence has outraged many on both the left and the right, and yet Obama just continues to keep quiet.  What are we supposed to make of that?

Iran Literally Fired A Shot Across An American Ally’s Bow, But Obama Won’t Dump His Disastrous Deal 

What, if anything, would cause President Barack Obama to step away from the negotiating table with Iran?

This is the question I find myself pondering in light of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Navy Patrol’s unchecked act of aggression on Tuesday against America’s interests in the Straits of Hormuz – an act that in a sane world would in and of itself put an end to the president’s disastrous nuclear deal with Iran.

As of this writing, reports indicate that the Iranian Navy Patrol fired shots at and ultimately seized a commercial cargo ship, the M/V Maersk Tigris, which flies under the Marshall Islands flag. Some believe Iran was even targeting a U.S. vessel.

“By hook or by crook” might sound like a line straight out of Peter Pan, but the fairy tale that is the partisan political ideology of this real life crook is nothing to laugh at or applaud.
