Friendship Between Putin And Xi Becomes Strained As Economies Falter

They have met more than a dozen times and stood shoulder to shoulder during Thursday’s military parade here.

 But the once-vaunted relationship between the Chinese president, Xi Jinping, and Russia’s leader,Vladimir V. Putin, has come under strain as the economies of their countries have faltered.

Two landmark energy deals signed last year for Russian natural gas to flow to China have made little progress and were barely mentioned when the two men met for talks after watching the show of weapons Thursday on Tiananmen Square.

The bilateral trade that was predicted to amount to more than $100 billion this year instead reached only about $30 billion in the first six months, largely because of a reduced Chinese demand for Russian oil.

China Issues Warning to Washington Confirming It's Been Liquidating U.S. Treasuries

Another busy week on Wall Street. We are learning that among other minor problems, like the Dow

dropping over 1,500 points in a week, that there were a few more mysterious “glitches.”

You remember the previous “glitches” right?

  During one beautiful morning the first week of July, the ALWAYS TRUTHFUL OBAMA ADMINISTRATION said there was a “glitch” on Wall Street, which ended up shutting down trading for several hours, United Airlines had a “glitch” of its own, grounding its entire fleet for several hours, by “sheer coincidence” of course, and then the Wall Street Journal also had a “glitch” that shut down online viewing all morning.

Then, much less often discussed because apparently someone put the kibosh on it, there were a series of SEVERAL THOUSAND POWER OUTAGES that were kept very quiet, and several several subways in New York just HALTED out of nowhere due to a “glitch” too.

Yep, it was a strange morning indeed. Lots of coincidences.

New Wave Of Lawsuits Against Jiang Zemin—This Time In China 

 A number of Falun Gong practitioners have filed criminal complaints in China’s highest courts since the beginning of this month.

 These documents list the same defendant: Jiang Zemin—former head of the Chinese Communist Party who imposed his personal will on state organs to launch the persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999.

In China, where the first lawsuit against Jiang occurred in August 2000, a new wave of legal efforts to bring Jiang to justice has begun. Chinese law allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many Falun Gong practitioners are now exercising their legal right to file criminal complaints against Jiang.

Practitioner Zhang Zhaosen in Hubei Province submitted his criminal complaint to the judge during his illegal trial at the Xiangyang Intermediate Court on May 15, 2015. The judge accepted the complaint.

Prior to the trial, Mr. Zhang also mailed his complaint to the Supreme People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate on May 11 via EMS (Express Mail Service).

Russia Launches Own Jade Helm As China Pushes Pentagon 

One story after another – the global war build-up continues. If you are not paying attention then you’ll be forced to once our suicidal leaders cross the threshold and plunge us into the abyss of war.

Just now the Moscow times is reporting that a Russia is deploying their own JADE HELM level exercises – Immediately after NATO wrapped their own version.

12,000 Russian soldiers and 250 aircraft are taking part in the Air defense exercises in the Ural Mountains and western Siberia.

But that is only the beginning – in September an even larger Russian Military drill is scheduled to take place called “Tsentr-2015.”

International tensions have never been higher with Russia – and now China is challenging the Pentagon.

Why No One Wants To Talk About China’s Female Suicide Problem 

Zhang Xihuan doesn't know what was going through her mind when she swallowed a mouthful of the pesticide stored behind the staircase in her home in rural Shandong province.

Maybe she was thinking of her neighbors who had ostracized her when she was diagnosed with hepatitis B. Or perhaps she was thinking of the hours spent scraping a living by collecting coal that had fallen on the road en route to nearby mines.

Regardless, when Xihuan brought the bottle of Yang Hua Le Guo pesticide to her lips in May 2009, she was doing what countless Chinese women had done before her and would do after: taking their own lives rather than face the harsh reality of their society. The only difference was that Xihuan would live to tell her story to the World Health Organization.

China accounts for 26 percent of suicides worldwide, according to WHO estimates. Suicide is the fifth leading cause of death in the country and the suicide rate in women is 25 percent higher than in men. Young rural women are most at risk and their poison of choice – or convenience – is pesticide.

Behind The Chinese Regime’s Organ Transplantation “Miracle” 

“For one life, eight people lost their lives.” Every time he talked about his investigation into live organ harvesting in China, David Kilgour couldn’t hide the sadness in his voice. Mr. Kilgour is the co-author of the book Bloody Harvest and is a former Canadian Secretary of State for Asia-Pacific.

Back in 2003, a 32-year-old man received kidney transplantation at the No.1 People’s Hospital in Shanghai. Due to an antibody problem, he received four kidneys in eight days, but all of them were rejected.

Three months later, he returned to the hospital and received four more kidneys and finally had one that wasn’t rejected by his body. The surgeon was Tan Jianming, who is currently the vice president of Fuzhou General Hospital of Nanjing Military Region and also the director of the urology department.

Tan is also the director of Chinese Military Organ Transplantation Center, General Secretary of Chinese Dialysis Transplantation Society, and was the leader in establishing the Chinese National Clinical Major Organ Transplantation Department.

China Manufacturing PMI In Contraction: New Orders And Operating Conditions Decline At Strongest Rate In A Year 

More signs of a global slowdown surface in the latest China Manufacturing PMI where operating conditions and new orders decline at fastest pace in a year.

Chinese manufacturers saw a further deterioration in operating conditions in April, with total new orders declining at the strongest pace for a year while production levels stagnated. Data suggested that relatively weak domestic demand was the main driver of reduced new business, as new export work picked up in April (albeit marginally). Consequently, employment in the sector continued to decline, while purchasing activity fell at the quickest rate in 13 months. Meanwhile, deflationary pressures intensified in April, with both input and output costs falling at accelerated rates.

How Chinese Oligarchs Used Fake Trade Invoices To Launder Almost $1 Trillion Globally 

Our estimates show that the developing world lost US$991.2 billion in illicit financial flows in 2012, over ten times the amount of official development aid received by these countries in that year, and greater than the amount of net foreign direct investment received. From 2003 – 2012, US$6.6 trillion left developing country economies illicitly.

Illicit outflows from developing countries increased at a trend rate of 9.4 percent per annum in real terms over the time period from 2003 to 2012. Though growth rates of IFFs tended to be higher before the financial crisis, their volume continues to climb. Over this time period, illicit financial flows were equivalent to 3.9 percent of developing world GDP on average.

“Its content was and is horrifying, but it is definitely a message that needs to be spread worldwide, until the Chinese authorities realize what they have done is wrong,” said Bush. “It is one of the worst abuses of human rights, and it needs to be stopped.”

New York Parade Commemorates The April 25, 1999 Peaceful Protest In Beijing 

Two thousand Falun Gong practitioners held a parade and rally in Flushing, New York on April 25, 2015, to commemorate the 16th anniversary of the peaceful protest of 1999.

Sixteen years ago, on April 25, 1999, over 10,000 practitioners quietly demonstrated in Beijing. They presented three requests to the Chinese leadership: that the practitioners violently arrested in Tianjin be released, that their legal right to practice be recognized, and that the ban on publishing Falun Gong materials be lifted.

The 10,000 left peacefully later that day, after then-Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji met with Falun Gong representatives. Zhu agreed to release the Tianjin practitioners and gave assurances that the government did not oppose Falun Gong.

Australia: Medical Doctor Urges Action To Stop Forced Organ Harvesting In China 

I think most of the doctors are trained in the world with the aim of saving lives, not killing people. We got to do everything to stop that,” said Dr. Cuong Bui, a medical doctor and a Vietnamese community leader in Queensland.

China Toughens Up Food Safety Laws By Adopting New Amendments

In the wake of several high-profile food safety scandals, China’s lawmakers have adopted tougher amendments to bolster the country’s existing food safety law. The changes, effective Oct. 1, 2015, will add 50 new articles, or about half again what the previous law contained.

Many of the new amendments address infant formula regulations and the online food market, which has seen rising popularity in China. The changes also set tougher penalties for violations, according to news reports, and are the first changes to the law since it was originally adopted in 2009.

DAFOH: Doctors Reject Sugar Coating On China’s Organ Transplant Business  

Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH), the medical watchdog organization monitoring abuses in organ transplantation surgery, said that the international community should be wary of China’s recent promise to end the harvesting of organs from executed prisoners.

The Chinese government has a longstanding record of secrecy, misleading numbers and contradictory statements, and despite mounting evidence and international demands to stop organ harvesting abuses, Beijing has refused to acknowledge the illegal harvesting of organs from prisoners of conscience.

China’s primary source of organs for transplantation surgeries, said to be executed death row inmates, belies a different reality: an increased reliance on organ procurement from prisoners of conscience. This vulnerable group, including Falun Gong – a brutally persecuted traditional Chinese cultivation practice, is at increased risk of falling victim to the demand for forcibly procured organs. Respected Chinese Journalist Gets Seven Years Jail

Gao Yu is a rare type of journalist in China. She braved working outside of what’s considered mainstream media in China (that being state-controlled), and suffered for her work on more than one occasion.

Along with other prominent intellectuals, Gao spent 15 months in jail following the Tiananmen Square massacre of 1989. She spent a further five-and-a-half years in jail during in the 1990s for sending party documents, including a speech by then-Communist Party leader Jiang Zemin, to a Hong Kong newspaper, reports the BBC.

Perth, Australia: Viewers React To The “Worst Atrocity On This Earth” Exposed In TV Documentary On Organ Trafficking In China 

The documentary “Human Harvest: China’s Organ Trafficking” was aired on the Australian TV network SBS on April 7, exposing organ harvesting atrocities against prisoners of conscience in China, the vast majority of whom are Falun Gong practitioners. Since the broadcast, practitioners working to raise awareness of the atrocities have observed the ripple effect the documentary has had in Australian society.

For example, a Falun Gong booth was set up at the annual Show Horse and Country Event on April 11 in Bunbury, Western Australia. Many attendees approached the practitioners manning the booth and said that they had seen the 25-minute documentary about China’s state-sanctioned organ harvesting. They shared their thoughts and expressed concern over this serious human rights violation.
