Baltimore’s WMAL interviewed a man named Donta Allen a few days ago, claiming that he was the guy who shared the paddy wagon ride with Freddie Gray.But Donta Allen does not seem to be the guy who was in the van with Freddie Gray. According to the Baltimore police, that man is still in jail.
This is significant because according to the Washington Post, the individual who shared the ride with Freddie Gray, told investigators that it sounded to him like Freddie was thrashing around, trying to hurt himself.
That was a game-changing bombshell because the narrative had been that the cops had given Freddie a “rough ride” – that is – cuffed his hands and feet, but left him unbuckled so he would bump around like a rag doll when the vehicle took sharp corners.
